GTXImage CAD
GTXImage CAD combines the raster editing and CAD conversion features of the GTXRaster CAD plug-in with the 2D drafting features of the AutoCAD OEM software platform into a single desktop application.
No CAD software is required.
Features
GTXImage CAD is a standalone Windows desktop application that does not require an AutoCAD license. AutoCAD's 2D drafting commands, menus, and toolbars are combined with GTX's raster editing and CAD conversion tools, allowing the user to create a 100% AutoCAD-compatible DWG file.
GTXImage CAD supports Windows 7 (32 bit and 64 bit), Windows 8 (32 bit and 64 bit), and Windows 10 (64 bit only). No CAD software is required.

PDF Support
- Import and Edit black and white or color PDF files
- Save edited PDF files as a TIFF or as a PDF
Image Clean-up and Restoration
- Improve scanned raster image quality using automatic and semi-automatic tools
- Remove background noise, de-skew, de-speckle, crop, and correct distortion on warped images
- Commands to move, copy, scale, mirror, and rotate images
Raster Image Editing
- Using GTX's Intelligent Object Picking (IOP) technology, treat raster entities just like CAD objects, including raster object selection and snapping
- Raster editing features include CAD-like raster manipulation commands, allowing you to edit, change, draw, and save raster data just like vector entities.
Hybrid File Editing
- Create a new image that includes a combination of both AutoCAD vector data and raster entities
- Using AutoCAD design tools, new vector data can be added on top of the raster image, or raster can be traced and stored or plotted as a hybrid file
- AutoCAD vector entities, including text, can be merged into raster
- Redlines created by GTXImage CAD View can be imported and merged or edited
Upgrade to GTXImage CAD PLUS that adds:
- Automatic conversion of raster into rectified and accurate AutoCAD entities, including lines, arcs, circles, polylines, line styles, splines, cross-hatching, arrow-heads, and true AutoCAD text
- Post-conversion vector "clean-up" tools for line de-skewing, line joining, circle concentricity, layer control, and word and character recognition
- Conversion of selected area or full image

Licensing
Choose between a single user license for a single PC, or a floating license that can be shared across the entire network. GTXImage CAD application is installed on the PC. For floating (network) applications, an additional license resides on the server and may be accessed by any number of PCs on the network, on a concurrent use basis, up to the number of licenses activated. An offsite user can "borrow" a license from the floating (network) license pool and return it to the license pool when their work is completed.
Working Remotely
It is common to need access to software from locations other than the normal office environment. A GTXImage CAD single-user license includes a terminal server option, which allows the user to remotely connect to their PC at the office via a remote desktop application. A network license can be accessed via a VPN connection when users are working on their office PCs at a remote location. Since there are many remote access applications and virtual environments, let us know how you plan to access GTXImage CAD so that we can confirm support.
Maintenance
The purchase of software maintenance is mandatory with the purchase of a new license or a version upgrade. Purchase of maintenance after the initial period (12 months) is optional but strongly recommended. Maintenance includes product upgrades and updates, and live technical support during the coverage period.
